Idle Server Defender Wiki — How to Use It[edit]
This wiki is here to help you with everything in Idle Server Defender: enemies, upgrades, strategies, systems and more. Here is how you can use it and contribute
Searching for Information[edit]
- Use the search box at the top to type what you are looking for (for example "Virus Alpha", "Firewalls", "Boosts")
- If the page exists it will open
- If not you will see a message that the page does not exist yet
Creating a New Page[edit]
- Search for a topic that does not exist yet
- You will see a red link saying "create this page" click it
- You are taken to the editor write your content and click Save page
Example: To create a page about a new enemy type search "Enemy: Virus Alpha". If it is not found click the red link to make it
Editing Pages[edit]
- On any page click Edit at the top
- Add or fix information
- Use Show preview to check your changes before saving
- Click Save page when done
Linking Between Pages[edit]
- To link to another page in your text write it like this without the spaces:
- [ [Enemy: Virus Alpha] ]
- [ [Upgrade: Firewall Boost] ]
- [ [System: Prestige] ]
- If a page does not exist yet the link will appear red click it to create the page
Categories[edit]
- Add pages to a category to help organize content. Put these at the bottom of a page
- [ [Category:Enemies] ]
- [ [Category:Upgrades] ]
- [ [Category:Systems] ]
- Each category automatically generates an index of all pages in it
Tips for Contributors[edit]
- Use clear consistent titles for example "Enemy: Virus Beta", "Upgrade: Auto Patch"
- Break content into sections such as stats, description, strategy
- Screenshots help a lot upload them when possible
- Respect other players edits collaborate

Categories[edit]
Put the page in the relevant categories using: [ [Category:Enemies] ] [ [Category:Upgrades] ] [ [Category:Systems] ]
What You Can Create[edit]
- Enemy pages (Enemy: …)
- Upgrade pages (Upgrade: …)
- System guides (Systems: Prestige, Boosts)
- Build guides and strategies
Help the Wiki Grow[edit]
- Add missing information
- Improve and edit pages that need updates
- Link related pages so navigation is easier
