Server Slots[edit]

Server Slots are your active loadout slots. This is where you equip/select:

  • Boosts
  • Downloads
  • Workers
  • Mechanics

If something is not slotted, it is generally not active.

What slots do[edit]

A slot holds one active item (`Boost`, `Download`, `Worker`, or `Mechanic`).

Important behavior:

  • One item can only exist in one slot at a time.
  • Moving an item to another slot removes it from its previous slot automatically.
  • Empty slots are allowed.

Buying slots[edit]

  • Currency: Gems
  • Max slots: 20
  • Price depends on how many slots you already own.
  • First purchased slot costs 50 Gems.

Slotting rules by item type[edit]

Boosts[edit]

  • Can be slotted if owned and unlocked for its category.

Downloads[edit]

  • Slotting a download starts it (and spends its Coin cost).
  • While a download is in progress in a slot, that slot is effectively locked for changing.
  • When the download finishes, it is removed from the slot automatically.

Workers[edit]

  • Can be slotted if owned.
  • Slotting activates their contribution.
  • Worker idle gain handling is integrated with slot active state.

Mechanics[edit]

  • Can be slotted if owned and category-unlocked.
  • Slotted mechanics enable their gameplay effects.

Category unlock requirement[edit]

Slotting checks category progression (`attack`, `defense`, `utility`) via the corresponding Upgrade Unlock Downloads.

Practical tips[edit]

  • Keep a few flexible slots open for swapping situational downloads/mechanics.
  • Don’t overfill with long downloads if you need reactive slot changes.
  • Prioritize slot count early if you rely on multiple workers + mechanics + key boosts simultaneously.
